Teens Self Help

A medium to express myself and talk about my feelings, hoping to inspire you... "Believe in yourself, in the power you have to control your own life day by day. Believe in the strength that you have deep inside and your faith will help show you the way. Believe in tomorrow and what it will bring. For things will work out if you trust and believe there is no limit to what you can do!" (Larry S. Chengges)

Being Good to Ourselves

"Many people go through life committing partial suicide - destroying their talents, energies, creative qualities. Indeed, to learn how to be good to oneself is often more difficult than to learn how to be good to others."

Today I read something very interesting about the importance of being "inspired". Without inspiration there's no spark ... no happiness. Inspiration gives us positive energy and helps us become creative. Others can sense our excitement when we're inspired. Our energy becomes contagious and we attract interesting people. So, I think it's extremely important to become INSPIRED and learn to love our life!

I agree with you "anonymous". Lack of inspiration is a big problem. Some people go through life uninspired and hating their lives. I've learned that no matter what has happened to you; it is our responsibility to create happiness in our life - there's no other choice! All the best! Karol

The problem is sometimes people don't want to admit they're not happy. They pretend they're happy but they don't want to take time to look inside. To analize their lives honestly and find the solutions to their problems. Or, they are in denial; pretending everything is OK - when deep inside they're miserable. We have to learn to take time to look at our lives objectively - where we are, where we are going, etc. and think carefully about our options. Create new options, create a better future, create a better reality. We also have to be very kind and patient with ourselves; accept our weaknesses and know that we have the potential to change our lives for the better! Believe in ourselves!

The challenge is to just keep trying to do our best, to be aware of our feelings and not take things personally, and to try to improve ourselves, somehow. I love to keep reading inspirational books, like "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz (and "The Mastery of Love"), and many others. Like books by Debbie Ford, Leo Buscaglia, Iyanla Vanzant, etc. But even if you don't read books, just try your best to stay positive, to look within, to acknowledge your mistakes and weaknesses, and help others in some way. All the best!
